WHAT ARE THEY?

These are fixed income investments with set rates and maturity dates. Essentially, you are ‘lending’ your money to conglomerates like Ayala Corporation, San Miguel Corporation or PLDT.

You can decide how much money to place, and how long it will be invested, with a minimum of 30 days. The longer the placement, the higher the rate. The risk involved is minimal as the companies all have a strong capacity to pay, and none of them have historically folded on their debts to investors.

WHY SHOULD I INVEST?

Emergency Fund
To be prepared for uncertain times, it is always recommended to have around 3-6 months worth of your daily expenses - in cash. Instead of leaving it in the bank where interest is low, these commercial papers offer both liquidity and a higher rate of growth.

Short Term Investment
Aligned with Goal-Based Investing, you may have short term goals (like a car, a house, child’s tuition, etc.) that you know will be payable at a future date - be it a few months or year. While waiting for that time to come, the money can grow in the meantime.

Stable Cash Flow
Risk-averse investors, retirees or anyone who desires passive income may also want to have a pool of funds that allow them to get paid interest monthly or quarterly, while the principal amount remains invested. - These are competitive rates, if you find anything better in the market, we can try to match
- In comparison, bank savings accounts usually give an annual interest of only 0.6%
- In case of clients’ personal emergencies, we allow pull out of principal with no penalty. Interest applied will be the current rate based on actual length of time invested
- Minimum investment: P30k

IF LEFT IN BANK SAVINGS ACCOUNT (approx. 0.6%)

IF PLACED IN COMMERCIAL PAPER
P200,000.00 x 2% x 120 days / 360 days = P1,333.33

STEP 1: READ TERMS AND CONDITIONS

I. These bonds, commercial papers, and promissory notes are directly purchased by Rampver Financials and the client/s’ exposure is to the original issuer of the instrument.
II. These papers are being offered only upon availability in the secondary market. These usually come in tranches and rates are re-priced from time to time. Clients who reserve a specific amount and lock in for a certain period will not be affected should rates fluctuate within that period.
III. These instruments are fixed-income placements, and since participation is short term in nature, principal valuations do not fluctuate.
IV. A client may choose from 30, 120 to 360-day placements. 2 days prior to maturity, Rampver Financials will advise client regarding new rates and ask for instructions whether to roll over, withdraw interest only or withdraw full placement.
V. Payment of proceeds may either be in check form or direct deposit to client’s bank account.
